Center Section Recommendations: Sway bar selection can be dictated primarily by how much front grip the chassis can generate. If aero is not involved, you can solely look at the tire sizes utilized. When maintaining an OE style stagger setup where the front tires are narrower than the rear tires by 20-30mm, the 1.25" O.D. x 0.120" wall thickness center section will be most ideal. For a slight stagger such as 245/255 setups, or 245 square, the 0.188" wall thickness bar will be a great fit. Once bumping up to a 255 square tire setup, the 0.250" wall thickness center section is going to be what is preferred. 99% of our SCCA STR (Street Touring Roadster) customers are using the 0.250" bar (hole 4/4 is a great starting point in this trim). If the vehicle has rear aero, the above recommendations may still work, but typically you will want to drop down one bar size. For example, road racers with full aero and 255 square tire setups seem most happy with the 1.25" O.D. x 0.188" wall front bar.

Note: Brake line mounting brackets, remote reservoir lines, nitrogen fill connections, and any other potential obstructions mounted inboard of the shock body may prohibit the quick adjustment feature of this sway bar kit. OE shocks, Koni Sport shocks, and any other shocks with OE style brake line mounting brackets can still retain quick adjustment functionality when swapping the left shock to the right side, and vice versa (effectively eliminating the interference without having to grind off the brake line brackets completely). Please consult us before purchasing if you have any concerns with achieving quick adjustment for your application.
